Staying Strong in these

 Difficult Times

Are you feeling lost? Powerless? Are you feeling like you are constantly drowning in a sea of despair, paranoia, and fear with nothing or no one to hold onto? We totally understand exactly what you are going through! These are intractable times indeed and we all have been deeply impacted by this outrageous act. Even so, we have to stand our ground and fight injustice till it is gone forever.

Hence, we would like to share the importance of mental health and some tips to develop a positive mentality.

“Mental health” refers to how people think, feel and act as they face life’s situations. Our mental health affects how we handle stress, relate to one another and make decisions. And mental health influences the way individuals look at themselves, their lives and others in their lives.

All aspects of our lives are affected by our mental health, and maintaining a positive mentality is an active process that we all have to be mindful of. But that doesn't mean that it's not okay to be mentally exhausted. Sometimes we just have to retreat to the warm and loving embrace of our friends and families. And that's what we are here for!

Some Tips to Maintain a Positive Mentality

Understand who you are and how you are not okay. Being truthful about your actions, thoughts and choices impact your life and the people around you.

Turn off all your devices and give yourself a media and social media time out. Find out who you are when you don't have other people's opinions, thoughts and images coming at you every hour on the hour.

Choosing to like all the parts of yourself without exception or judgement; your body, your skin, your personality, your past, and your present completely unashamed

Mindfulness is the act of being present. You may choose to do guided meditations or yoga with videos as a mindfulness practice. Just allowing yourself to "be here now" can be life-giving.
